We hired JF Fuentes to renovate our basement, add a bathroom, wet bar, and a bedroom with a proper egress window. Prior to this renovation, we did not have plumbing down there and we learned so much about the entire process. We are very involved homeowners and Melvis walked us through the process the entire time. He asked for our input before moving forward with things that would affect the design and things we never even thought of were brought to our attention. Overall, the job took longer than expected due to inspection times but in the end the inspections were passed and our basement renovation is beautiful. At times it felt there was a communication barrier but Melvis was always responsive with texting or calling and he generally had a positive attitude. No one is perfect and when one mistake was made (which was only discovered after the rain) Melvis came over to our house at 10pm to make it right. Mr Fuentes and his men were great! Very prompt, sitting outside in their cars and waiting to ring the doorbell at 8am sharp. They draped the area to limit the dust during demo and were extremely efficient. They told me 3 weeks to do over my master bathroom, it took them 2.5! That is with moving the toilet out of a horrible closet to make space for a shower and putting in the freestanding tub on the opposite wall. Totally redid the plumbing. They brought my vision to life and I am so grateful because I love my bathroom now. Total upgrade from the 1990s builder grade bathroom.
