We hired JF Fuentes to help us out with multiple projects throughout the interior and exterior of our house. They were very helpful throughout the entire process and provided feedback along the way to make the project better by helping us make decisions and providing advice. They helped us with installing basement windows, removing popcorn ceilings in two rooms, install recessed lighting, repair and replace drywall, replace treads and railings on two sets of stairs, replaced hardwood floors throughout two floors, and replace two window wells. We hired Melvis’ company to build an addition from ground up. He helped us from plan submission, foundation to final inspection. We had some challenges with the Moco county but his team made sure to help us with the whole planning process. Architect and his team were easy to work with. Staffs were punctual, polite and always kept the location clean. Workmanship is great and always made sure to have our inputs in the finishes. Melvis is reliable, fair and a good person to work with. We hired JF Fuentes to renovate our basement, add a bathroom, wet bar, and a bedroom with a proper egress window. Prior to this renovation, we did not have plumbing down there and we learned so much about the entire process. We are very involved homeowners and Melvis walked us through the process the entire time. He asked for our input before moving forward with things that would affect the design and things we never even thought of were brought to our attention. Overall, the job took longer than expected due to inspection times but in the end the inspections were passed and our basement renovation is beautiful. At times it felt there was a communication barrier but Melvis was always responsive with texting or calling and he generally had a positive attitude. No one is perfect and when one mistake was made (which was only discovered after the rain) Melvis came over to our house at 10pm to make it right. I believe that how a company handles every step of the way, even the unexpected, truly can make an experience positive or negative and the basement work speaks for itself. Melvis truly stands behind his work, is conscientious, and has integrity. Melvis and his team were always on time, courteous, and worked very quickly when not waiting on inspections.

Mr Fuentes and his men were great! Very prompt, sitting outside in their cars and waiting to ring the doorbell at 8am sharp. They draped the area to limit the dust during demo and were extremely efficient. They told me 3 weeks to do over my master bathroom, it took them 2.5! That is with moving the toilet out of a horrible closet to make space for a shower and putting in the freestanding tub on the opposite wall. Totally redid the plumbing. They brought my vision to life and I am so grateful because I love my bathroom now. Total upgrade from the 1990s builder grade bathroom.
